Best NFL Week 7 PrizePicks Player Predictions
Let's get things started with the international game between the Rams (4-2) and the Jaguars (4-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET from Wembley Stadium in London, England.
I took a flier on Travis Hunter in one of my fantasy leagues, and I have to say, I'm really regretting that decision as the season continues. There's no denying that Hunter is an elite talent, but he's simply not getting the workload to showcase his skills on the offensive side of the ball. In fact, Hunter is only playing 63% of offensive snaps and averaging 5.2 targets and 3.3 receptions per game. Hunter has not cleared 41.5 receiving yards in four of his six games, and one time he did, he barely exceeded the threshold with 42 yards.
Furthermore, the Rams have been one of the toughest defenses in the NFL. Pro Football Focus (PFF) has them graded as the second-best unit overall (83.8), while ranking first in pass coverage (79.6). As for the baseline metrics, Los Angeles is ninth in passing yards allowed per game (199) and 15th in opposing completion rate (65.9%). Ultimately, this number is pretty lofty for a receiver who really hasn't done much and isn't getting a lot of looks. I don't expect that to change against a solid opposing defense.
Bringing it back stateside, I've narrowed in on this Quinshon Judkins player prediction in the Dolphins (1-5) versus the Browns (1-5) game. This AFC showdown is slated for 1:00 p.m. ET from Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, OH.
Folks, this is one of those rare times a year when we may actually see the Cleveland offense put up some big numbers. As you can tell, this is accounted for with Quinshon Judkins' rushing number sitting at 84.5 yards. However, I still think there's quite a bit of room for him to go north of this threshold. Judkins has reached 82+ yards in three of his five games, and he's averaging 76.6 rushing yards per game.
This is all about the matchup. Judkins and the Browns’ offensive line will be looking to steamroll a Dolphins defense that's an abomination. As for their rushing defense specifically, Miami is dead last in rushing yards allowed per game (168.5) and 30th in yards allowed per attempt (5.6). It seems PFF agrees, grading the Dolphins as the 25th-best rushing defense (60.2) and 31st in tackling (37.1). This physical Browns team should bulldoze them, leading to a big day from Judkins.
The Commanders (3-3) dropped to .500 on Monday night with their 25-24 home loss to the Bears. Up next is a divisional matchup with the Cowboys (2-3), who are coming off a 30-27 road loss to the Panthers. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
There should be no shortage of scoring in this game, and PrizePicks agrees, posting an insane point total of 55.5 points. Washington will be able to move the ball at will, and I'm going to take Jayden Daniels to throw at least two touchdowns. He has done so in two out of four games played this season, including a three-touchdown performance against the Bears in Week 6.
Dallas' defense has holes all over the place, and their pass defense is graded as the fourth-worst unit (47.7), according to PFF. Opposing quarterbacks are completing 71.8% of their passes (29th) against the Cowboys, and most importantly, Dallas is conceding 2.5 passing touchdowns per game (31st). Give me Daniels to throw two or more touchdowns through the air on Sunday afternoon.
