Best Bets for Chiefs vs. Raiders

I like Kansas City here — 4.5 isn’t the kind of number that scares me off laying points with this offense, even on the road, and I expect them to win by around two touchdowns like they usually do. Vegas has been a legitimately good team statistically (top-five in scoring and point differential), but this is a real step up in competition, and I don’t think their defense slows down Patrick Mahomes.

Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Chiefs vs. Raiders. And you can view all of our Week 4 NFL same game parlays.

Kansas City and Las Vegas are both 3-0 ahead of this AFC West showdown. As impressive as this Raiders' undefeated start may be, it's worth selling high with the Chiefs coming to town. Let's kick off this parlay with the KC moneyline as a road favorite.

The Chiefs' defense has held two of three opponents to 10 points this season. It'll be the toughest unit that Kirk Cousins and the Raiders' offense have faced. On the other side, the KC offense looks as balanced as ever. Patrick Mahomes is fully healthy with a slew of receiving weapons at his disposal. Plus, Kenneth Walker has given the attack a true workhorse back to take pressure off Mahomes to do it all.

The Raiders have benefited from a fairly easy schedule thus far. It faced the bad Dolphins team in Week 1, a disappointing Chargers squad in Week 2, and an inconsistent Saints team last week. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have proven they can win in different ways. They beat up on Denver in the season opener and won a high-scoring battle with Indianapolis in Week 2.

En route to the Kansas City win, Travis Kelce has a great shot at scoring. He's found the end zone in back-to-back games while looking refreshed this season. Kelce now faces a Raiders defense that allowed four touchdowns to Saints tight ends last week. Vegas also allowed a TD to a Chargers tight end the game prior.

As for the Raiders' offense, Brock Bowers made his season debut last week and made an immediate impact. He caught 10 of 14 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown. Cousins has always liked throwing to his tight ends, and he's now paired with one of the best in the league. It seems that connection is already established, so expect Bowers to be busy this week once again.

What is an NFL player prop bet?

An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
