Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox

One team has to win in this matchup.

Tarik Skubal will take the hill for the Tigers. The left-handed pitcher has held his last 117 batters to a .110 ISO and wOBA of .286 over the previous month. Skubal has also induced over 53% of ground balls and allowed 18.2% of fly balls in those 30 days.

He’ll take on a White Sox lineup that has hit a .157 ISO and wOBA of .306 in the last 30 days. They’ve also struck out 26.6% of the time in the previous 30 days. On top of that, the projected lineup has only walked 3.5% of the time.

Skubal has kept walks to just 6% in the last month and should get through six innings, if not more, against this White Sox.

On the other hand, Michael Kopech will man the mound for the White Sox. The righty has only struck out 16.8% of batters in the last 30 days. He’s also walked 19.6% of batters in the previous 30 days.

Beyond that, Kophech has given up a .200 ISO and wOBA of .368 to his last 107 batters. He’s not inducing ground balls at a high rate and has allowed over 52% of hard contact to his previous 107 batters.

Meanwhile, the Tigers have hit a .176 ISO and wOBA of .309, earning about 8% of walks using their projected lineup in the last 30 days. They’re getting more production from the lineup and facing a pitcher that has been much worse overall. Back the Tigers on the moneyline.

Bet: Tigers Moneyline (-146)

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Colorado Rockies

The Toronto Blue Jays will pitch Kevin Gausman today. Gausman has allowed a .145 ISO and wOBA of .299 to 643 batters this season.

He’s also struck out over 31% of batters this season. That strikeout rate has dropped over the last month. But it’ll likely build back up against a Rockies lineup that has struck out 29.4% of the time against righties in the previous 30 days.

On the other hand, Chase Anderson will get the call for the Rockies. The right-hander hasn’t thrown on the major league mound in a bit. But when he did, he allowed a .226 ISO and wOBA of .380 to 268 batters this season.

Anderson has only struck out 16.4% of batters this season and has given up nearly as many fly balls as ground balls induced.

The Toronto lineup has smashed a .242 ISO and wOBA of .379 against righties over the last 30 days. The projected lineup has also struck out just 16.3% of the time against righties.

Toronto won’t only just win this game. They’ll dominate in this game. Back the Blue Jays on the run line.

Bet: Blue Jays -1.5 (-154)
