Course History

Daniel Berger finished 10th in his 2016 Masters debut. He hasn’t finished in the top 20 in any of his other five appearances, although he placed a respectable 21st last year. Berger’s career scoring average at Augusta is 73.00.

Recent Form

The four-time PGA Tour winner has been up and down this year. Daniel Berger began 2026 with a sixth-place finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii, and he nearly won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, ultimately losing to Akshay Bhatia in a playoff.

Berger has either missed the cut or finished outside of the top 50 in four of his eight tournaments this year. Berger’s iron play has been splendid. He ranks sixth in strokes gained on approach.

Daniel Berger’s ballstriking is rock-solid, but he isn’t a good putter by PGA Tour standards. And when he does putt well, it’s usually on Bermuda greens. Augusta’s greens are bentgrass, and extremely demanding.
