2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Si Woo Kim

The best golfers in the world will be in Augusta, Georgia, this week for the first major of the year, The Masters. We’re going to share our top 2026 Masters picks and predictions.

Augusta National Golf Club is simultaneously a feast for the eyes and a stern test of golfing acumen. The Georgia pines and blooming azaleas highlight Augusta's beauty, but this world-renowned course demands precise ballstriking and short-game excellence.

Rory McIlroy had an epic victory at last year's Masters to earn his first Green Jacket. Can he successfully defend his title, or will the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win at Augusta for the third time in five years? PGA Tour stars Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele are looking for a career-altering victory, and big-hitting LIV Tour stalwarts Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will be in the hunt.

Welcome to the fifth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We'll take a deep dive into the field, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on.

Stats to Know

  • Odds to Win: +4500
  • World Ranking: 28
  • Best Masters finish: 12 (2021)
  • Last four Masters finishes: 12, 39, 29, 30
  • Last four tournament finishes: 34, 13, 50, 10

Course History

Kim is generally regarded as a streaky player, but it’s been quite the opposite for him at Augusta, where he’s been a high-floor, low-ceiling performer. In eight previous Masters appearances, Kim has never finished top 10 and has finished top 20 only once (12th in 2021). But since missing the cut in his 2017 debut, Kim has finished top 40 in seven straight Masters. His career scoring average at Augusta is 72.50.

Recent Form

Kim was on fire to begin the year, finishing 11th or better in each of his first four tournaments. He tied for second at the Farmers Insurance Open (though he was seven shots behind winner Justin Rose), and he tied for third at the Phoenix Open, finishing just one shot out of the playoff between Scottie Scheffler and eventual winner Chris Gotterup. Then, Kim cooled off, finishing outside the top 30 in three of his next four events. He was 10th at last week’s Valero Texas Open.

2026 Masters Outlook & Predictions

If Kim could hire a designated putter, he might be one of the favorites. Kim is among the best ballstrikers in the world, and he’s good around the greens as well. It’s ON the greens where Kim has problems. He’s a terrible putter by PGA Tour standards, and it’s hard to imagine Kim gaining strokes this week on Augusta’s undulating, lightning-fast greens.

Betting Outlook: 2026 Masters Picks

At 45-1, Kim is a clear fade. He’s never finished top 10 at The Masters, and his putting simply isn’t good enough for him to make a run at a Green Jacket.
