San Francisco Giants (-110) at Texas Rangers (-109) | O/U 8.0 (-115/-105)
Logan Webb isn’t pitching up to his typical standard in 2026. According to FanGraphs, the 29-year-old righty has a 3.93 ERA, 3.94 xERA, 3.74 xFIP, and 3.98 SIERA in 19 starts this season. Those numbers aren’t dreadful, but he’s been wretched lately. In Webb’s previous five starts spanning 28.2 innings, he’s recorded the following numbers:
- 6.59 ERA
- 4.94 xERA
- 4.50 xFIP
- 4.62 SIERA
- 1.29 WHIP
- 6.4 BB%
- 13.8 K%
- 9.2 SwStr%
- 24.7 CSW%
- 96 stuff+
- 103 location+
- 101 pitching+
He coughed up 21 runs in those starts. Webb is also backed by a lousy bullpen. The Giants are 22nd in bullpen ERA (4.40) in 2026.
Roster Resource projects Cal Quantrill to start for the Rangers tonight. Quantrill has made six starts and 16 relief appearances this year. His 3.84 ERA in those appearances doesn’t align with his 4.50 xERA, 5.13 xFIP or 4.73 SIERA.
Like Webb, Quantrill is backed by a below-average bullpen. The Rangers rank 21st in bullpen ERA (4.37) this year.
The offenses aren’t elite. That said, the Giants and Rangers are tied for 15th in wRC+ (103) against right-handed pitching, making them average offenses. San Francisco is also tied for 13th in wRC+ (98) on the road, while Texas is tied for 11th in wRC+ (106) at home this season. Both offenses have enough firepower to clear 8.0 runs between them tonight.
Pick: Over 8.0 Runs (-115)
Tampa Bay Rays (-163) at Colorado Rockies (+135) | O/U 11.5 (-105/-115)
The Rays have a mouthwatering matchup in MLB’s most hitter-friendly venue. Among 87 pitchers with at least 100 innings pitched in 2026, Michael Lorenzen is 86th in ERA (6.54), 82nd in xERA (5.63), 76th in xFIP (4.67), 77th in SIERA (4.76), and 87th in WHIP (1.81).
Moreover, Lorenzen has allowed a .348 wOBA to 228 right-handed batters and a .431 wOBA to 274 left-handed batters. Lorenzen has been a punching bag this season.
Unsurprisingly, Lorenzen has done his worst work at home. In 10 home starts spanning 45.1 innings this year, Lorenzen has an 8.34 ERA, 4.88 xFIP and 2.05 WHIP. He’s coughed up a .409 wOBA to righties and a .436 wOBA to lefties at home this season.
Tampa Bay’s offensive success is unlikely to dry up after Lorenzen vacates the game. The Rockies are 30th, i.e., dead last, in bullpen ERA (5.46). And, again, Coors Field has the highest park factor for runs (1.310).
The Rays have a decent lineup. Three of their projected starters have posted at least a 137 wRC+ against righties this year, two more have cleared a 100 wRC+, and only one has a wRC+ under 85 against. Tampa Bay’s team total of 6.5 runs is bloated, but they can clear that mark.
Pick: Rays Over 6.5 Runs (-105)
