Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros
Leg #1: Over 8.5 Runs (+100)
Bullpen days make me a little nervous when picking a winner; there are too many variables to consider, and the pitching situation is fluid.
However, we have two teams that finished the regular season hitting the ball extremely well. Houston had a .294 batting average and scored 46 runs over six games. Chicago hit .284 and scored 43 runs over six games. Neither bullpen was great this season.
With both teams hitting like this, I expect a lot of scoring today.
Leg #2: Yordan Alvarez 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140)
My main concern here is that the White Sox may try to pitch around this year's American League Batting Champ - and Yordan Alvarez has gone over this total against the White Sox in just three of eight games this season.
However, Alvarez comes in red-hot with a 12-game hitting streak, and at least one run in eight games and at least one RBI in five. He's gone over this mark in five of his last six games.
Leg #3: Yainer Diaz 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)
Yainer Diaz has hit safely in seven of his last eight games with multi-hit performances in six. He scored in four games and recorded an RBI in five. If anything, I would have expected him to have odds as long as, if not longer than, Yordan Alvarez with how he's hitting.

Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees
Leg #1: Under 7.5 Runs (-215)
I hate taking a leg at these odds, but 6.5 runs for the total makes me nervous (yes, one additional run makes a difference). But we have two very good pitchers in this game facing teams that haven’t been hitting all that well over the last week:
- Red Sox: .217
- Yankees: .229
In two games (13 innings) versus the Yankees, Payton Tolle allowed one run. Across four starts against Boston, Cam Schlittler surrendered two earned runs (seven total runs).
Leg #2: Ben Rice 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110)
I'm not expecting much offense in this game, but I like Ben Rice to provide something for the Yankees. He's been one of the better and more reliable hitters on the team this season. He'll get at least one hit and record either a run or an RBI today.
Leg #3: Yankees Moneyline (-138)
The Yankees were not hitting great down the stretch, but they found a way to win more often than not, winning four of their last six and three of four against Tampa Bay. Boston, on the other hand, lost six of its last nine. Look for Cam Schlittler to pitch a gem and for the Yankees to win a low-scoring game.
