Thursday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks Record this Season: 38-47
Green has recorded at least six rebounds in six consecutive games, yet after playing just 18 minutes in last night's game against the 76ers, his total is set at just 5.5 tonight. The over is still the right play. Even if he sees reduced minutes again, he's going against the Pacers, a team that allowed 58 rebounds in their last game.
The Pacers are averaging the fourth-fewest rebounds per game this season. However, they also lead the league in shooting percentage, so it can be difficult for opponents to get rebounding opportunities against them. But with this line, we're not asking Green to go above and beyond what he usually does. We're just asking him to stay consistent.
Fading the three-point defenses of the Chicago Bulls and the Lakers is going to work more often than not this season. To see Murray's number this low despite how favorable this matchup is, is quite shocking.
Murray has made at least three three-pointers in back-to-back games. More importantly, he's attempted 21 shots from deep during that span. For the season, he's averaging 2.8 makes per game. The Lakers are allowing the third-most points per game from beyond the arc. Murray faced the Lakers at the beginning of the season and went 3-of-5 from deep. With how many shots he's been taking from three-point range, he should clear this number with ease.
Conley is averaging 6.5 assists per game, and he's recorded at least eight in his last three games. Generally, we'd consider fading someone who has gone over their season average in three consecutive contests, but not this time. Conley is facing a Bucks team that is allowing 26.5 assists per game.
The Bucks have a solid three-point shooting defense, but they're in the bottom half of the league when it comes to opponent field goal percentage. In what will be a high-scoring game, Conley will find plenty of support from his teammates, who will knock down shots off his passes.
