NFL Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Commanders vs. 49ers
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers
- Leg 1: George Kittle 60+ Receiving Yards (-135)
- Leg 2: Christian McCaffrey Under 62.5 Rushing Yards (-111)
- Leg 3: Rachaad White 15+ Receiving Yards (+113)
Let's begin our same-game parlay with George Kittle. The 49ers'tight end could be busy in a favorable matchup this week. Washington is allowing 74.4 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends, the fifth-most in the NFL. The Commanders are also allowing the seventh-most receptions per game to the position.
Kittle should be a top target in the San Francisco passing attack. Deebo Samuel is out, and Mike Evans is questionable after missing practices this week. Kittle was relatively quiet last week with just 24 yards, though his five catches were encouraging. He had 80, 82, and 70 receiving yards in the three games prior. The veteran tight end can easily get back to that level against this Washington defense.
Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey's rushing yards could be capped tonight. The Commanders have been tough against the run this year. They're allowing 3.9 yards per carry and giving up the sixth-fewest rushing yards per game to opposing RBs. The defense has also held lead backs to under 60 yards in three of five games.
As for McCaffrey, the 49ers continue to limit and manage his carries. He is averaging just 12.2 rush attempts per game this season. Though he's averaging a solid 4.7 yards per carry, the reduced workload is notable. It's also resulted in lower weekly yardage totals. McCaffrey is averaging 57.2 rushing yards per game, with fewer than 70 yards in four of the past five weeks.
On the Commanders' side, let's target a running back prop. Jacory Croskey-Merritt is out, so Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler will lead the backfield. White should get the most snaps and touches, since Ekeler just returned to practice. That means plenty of receiving opportunities for White as Washington plays catch-up, since the 49ers will likely lead late.
San Francisco is allowing a league-high 7.4 receptions per game to running backs. The defense is also giving up the second-most receiving yards per game to the position. It lines up well for White, who has proven pass-catching chops. He has 10 catches for 53 yards this year, but 40 yards and six receptions came in one game. Last season, White hit 15+ yards in eight games.
Parlay Odds: +500
