The 2026-27 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season has 11 games scheduled today, including a doubleheader on ESPN. The Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes meet at 8:00 p.m. ET in the first game of the national doubleheader, while the Buffalo Sabers and San Jose Sharks square off at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN in the second game. Below are our top NHL player props for Tuesday, October 27th.
Tuesday's Best NHL Player Props
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Logan Stankoven Anytime Goal Scorer (+230)
Logan Stankoven has rolled up eight goals and 11 points through the first 13 games, but he’s turned up the heat lately, with four goals, five points and a +6 rating in his three-game goal-scoring streak.
Now, before you get carried away backing this prop heavily, know that Stankoven has a hat trick on October 8th against the Canucks at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, and two more goals in Vancouver last Tuesday. So, that’s three goals against all other opponents in his 10 games not involving the Canucks, so proceed with caution.
Jack Hughes 3+ Shots on Goal (-144)
Jack Hughes is scoreless in his last four games and in six of his last seven outings. He has at least two shots on goal (SOG) in his last five outings, and he should keep his foot on the gas as he tries to break out of his scoring slump.
Hughes has recorded at least three SOG in six of his first 11 games, and he has 12 SOG in five games against Western Conference foes. Let’s back him to take at least three shots on goal, as he tries to break his skid.
Jack Eichel 3+ Shots on Goal (-128)
Jack Eichel heads into this game against the Senators with nine SOG in the past two outings. He has been trying to break out of a slump, at least by his standards, going without a goal in three of his last four outings. He also has just one point in the past three games.
Eichel has taken at least three SOG in four of the past six games and six of the previous nine outings. Let’s go high on his shots total and be a little more aggressive here. We’ll know in the first period if this will go the right way.
Leo Carlsson 2+ Points (+190)
The Ducks pivot is worth a look to get at least two points in Tuesday’s game against the Vancouver Canucks. Leo Carlsson has picked up two points in two of the past three outings, and he has five multi-point games in 11 outings to date.
Vancouver is dead last in the NHL with 4.6 goals against and 33.5 shots against per game, and a 64.4% penalty kill. That’s great news for Anaheim’s offense, led by Carlsson.
