Arsenal vs. Leeds United
Arsenal's defense of the EPL title was off to a resounding beginning this year. They were 4-0 and undefeated in September. That was until a shocking 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Leeds United is unbeaten, though, and isn't that far behind in points with a 2-3-0 start to the season. But they haven't been great against Arsenal, which has won nine of its last 10 EPL games against Leeds.
Leeds has allowed just three goals, while Arsenal has allowed only four this season. So I don't expect a ton of scoring. But I think head coach Mikel Arteta will lead Arsenal to a bounce-back performance after 21 days off.
Picks: Arsenal Moneyline (-260) & Under 2.5 Goals (-105)
Aston Villa vs. Brentford
It's easy to look at Aston Villa's 1-1-3 record and think Brentford (2-3-0) will take the win. But that's not where I'm going here.
After a winless four-match start, Aston Villa beat Tottenham 3-2 before the international break. I think that will give this team some confidence. Villa also has yet to win at home in Premier League play this season, and I think that changes this weekend at Villa Park.
Pick: Aston Villa (+170)
Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur
At 1-2-2, Manchester United has struggled a bit. But so has Tottenham Hotspur, which is 0-2-3. With this one being at Old Trafford, this is a chance for Manchester United to get right.
Bruno Fernandes hasn't scored since his hat trick against Ipswich Town in August, but I think he’ll score this weekend, and Manchester United will win against a Tottenham Hotspur side that has scored just twice in five matches.
Pick: Manchester United Moneyline (-135) & Bruno Fernandes Anytime Goalscorer (+155)
