Sunday's Best NHL Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Montreal Canadiens (+150) vs. Carolina Hurricanes (-180) | O/U 6.5 (-105/-115

The Montreal Canadiens carry a four-game winning streak into Raleigh on Sunday. The Habs have also won five of the last six contests, including three of their last four on the road. Montreal is 19-8-8 on the road this season.

The Habs have taken both meetings so far this season, including a 7-5 win at Lenovo Center back on January 1. They also won in recent days, taking a home game against the Canes, 5-2, just last Tuesday.

Montreal has gone 6-6 in the second game of back-to-backs this season and has won three of its last five such situations. The Canadiens have also won three of their last four in this situation on the road including two straight.

Getting +150 for a team on a four-game heater who plays well in back-to-backs and already has two dubs this season against their opponent is bananas. Take advantage of the respect being paid to Tobacco  Road with Duke in the Elite Eight today.

Pick: Canadiens Moneyline (+150

Florida Panthers (+130) vs. New York Rangers (-155) | O/U 5.5 (-135/+114

The last and only time these two teams met this season, the Rangers got the better of the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions. The Rags won 5-1 and the first star of the game went to none other than Mika Zibanejad. He tallied a hat trick and finished with five points, having a hand in every goal.

In 17 games since Artemi "Bread Man" Panarin was traded on February 4, Zibanejad has 17 points. Those 17 points have all come in the last 15 games, including 16 in his last 13 games. Mika has notched 2+ points 17 times this season, including two of his last five games and five of his last 13. He has also scored eight points in his last seven home games.

In a game with over six goals projected, Mibanejad's name twice on the score sheet for 2.25x is a good ol' deal.

Pick: Mika Zibanejad 2+ Points (+225)
