Saturday's Best NHL Bets

Postseason: 2-0 | Last: 3-1 | Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook

Carolina Hurricanes (-130) vs. Ottawa Senators (+110) | O/U 5.5 (-120/+100

In what has been an incredibly low-scoring series, it's no surprise that the number is down to 5.5. These two teams have combined to score just 10 goals across the first three games. In a series where games are averaging 3.3 goals, Over 5.5 Goals feels like a fever dream.

The Hurricanes have cashed this number in six straight games, including four straight on the road. The Senators have cashed this number in four straight games and five of their last six, including their last two at home.

Additionally, the Hurricanes have had an answer for everything Ottawa has thrown at them this series and -130 is crazy value for the Canes to head back to Raleigh to rest up for the next round after today.

Picks: Under 5.5 Goals (+100) & Hurricanes Moneyline (-130)

Pittsburgh Penguins (+100) vs. Philadelphia Flyers (-120) | O/U 5.5 (-122/+102)

The Pittsburgh Penguins finished the regular season with 98 points and 41 wins. The Philadelphia Flyers ended up with 98 points and 43 wins. Pittsburgh came into this series with home-ice advantage, and it has not mattered at all as Philly looks for the sweep tonight.

The Flyers finished the regular season 7-3-0, including wins in their final game. Meanwhile, the Pens limped to the finish line 5-5-0, dropping their final three regular-season games to start their current six-game skid. These two squads split their four head-to-head matchups this season, 2-2. Each team won a road game and a home game in the season series, with Philadelphia taking the most recent four matchups, dating back to a 4-3 shootout victory on March 7, giving them the obviously better head-to-head form.

Philadelphia will send out Dan Vladar to man the crease. The 28-year-old Czech went 29-14-7 this season, while carrying a 2.42 GAA and .906 save percentage. Including the postseason, Vladar has won five straight starts and eight of his last nine.

Pittsburgh will send out Stuart Skinner to guard the net on their end. The 27-year-old Canadian finished the regular season 23-17-9, with a 2.92 GAA and .888 save percentage. Including the postseason, Skinner has dropped five straight starts and 16 of his last 20 starts dating back to February 3.

Pick: Flyers Moneyline (-120)
