(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
DeWanna Bonner 7+ Rebounds (-107)
Our first selection is certainly a strange one to kick things off with. When doing your research, it's essential to take notice of the lines that stand out for one reason or another. You want to make a small list, and then start asking yourself why that line stands out, and in what way can or should use this information to our advantage. For our purposes, the question is why is DeWanna Bonner almost at plus money on a line she has been so successful at over the last few games?
Brittney Griner is currently listed as questionable due to a left knee injury. Griner has now missed multiple games, and does not have any odds available on DraftKings as of this morning. While that may not be a concrete status for tonight's game, it's certainly telling. Without the presence of Griner in the paint, there's sure to be a few more rebounding opportunities for Bonner.
Griner's absence is only one aspect of the why we are seeking out. Bonner is averaging 8.1 boards through the last 14 games, and has accumulated seven or more rebounds in 11-of-14 contests. Connecticut are allowing just under 35 boards to the opposition over the last five games, and Bonner has been the leading rebound option for Phoenix as of late. All signs point to Bonner finishing with 7+ rebounds tonight, as long as Griner is not able to take the court. Your best bet may to be wait until a little later when lineups are submitted.
If you're feeling antsy, and want to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding Griner, you can always parlay 6+ boards for Bonner (-198) as it currently stands, with either another line in this game or the other two contests being played tonight.
H2H Shakira Austin & Angel Reese 21+ Rebounds (-125)
The H2H rebound matchups involving Shakira Austin have been highly profitable over the last few weeks, and we plan to carry that over in this contest. Austin is amassing powerful rebounding totals, and combined with another volume option for boards in Angel Reese, the 21 total for these players seems very attainable.
Shakira Austin is a highly formidable rebounding presence, and has hauled in 267 boards through 28 games. The young forward/center is averaging 10.2 boards over the previous 10 games. Austin finished with 13 rebounds or more in three out the last six games games.
Angel Reese is ripping down 11.8 rebounds in her last 10 games. The Atlanta forward has accumulated 12+ boards in seven out of the previous 10 contests. Reese and Austin rank in the top five of the rebounding standings this season; Reese is tied for the most rebounds per game in the WNBA (11.8) . If you want to play it a little safer, you can also take Reese vs. Iriafen (-136) for 20+ combined rebounds.
Shakira Austin To Record A Double-Double (+123)
Our next selection is correlated to the previous rebounding prop. We expect Austin to finish with 10 rebounds or more tonight. So, it only makes sense to combine that outlook with 10+ points. Austin has been on somewhat of a scoring surge through the last few weeks, and we expect that to continue tonight in this matchup against Atlanta.
There's history here between these two teams, and considering the Dream and Mystics are separated by only two games, this should be an all out war, with the best players being on the floor for most of it. When Atlanta and Washington last met on July 2, Austin was one rebound shy of completing a double-double (21/9) . Had it not been for early foul trouble, there's a very high probability that Austin would have played around 33-35 minutes instead of 30.
The forward/center for Washington is averaging 34.2 minutes, while scoring 24 points, with 9.7 boards through the last three games. If Austin is on the floor for 34 minutes or more in this contest, it's very likely that it will result in 10+ points and 10+ rebounds.
Paige Bueckers Under 29+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-114)
Things haven't been exactly going so well for the second-year guard since returning from the All-Star Break. The stats are down for the most part, as we will get into a little later, and there appears to be a lack of energy for sone reason or another. Bueckers is one of the best players in the WNBA, and will no doubt turn things around at some point. We just don't feel confident that will happen in this contest.
Bueckers produced a line of 15 points, eight assists, and three rebounds when the Wings last matched up against the Valkyries. Since All-Star Break, the guard for Dallas is averaging 15.5 points, with 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists. What stands out most is the drop in efficiency, and the regressing assist numbers (5.9 in 2026).
Bueckers connects on 50.6% of attempted field-goals, and 39.1% from beyond the arc, over 29 games played this season. Through the last four games the shooting efficiency has dropped to 45% from inside the perimeter, and 35% on the outside. Bueckers has combined for 29 points, boards, and assists in 1-of-4 games. The Valkyries own the highest defense rating in the league, and allow six-fewer points per game than the rest of the league.
H2H Points: Paige Bueckers & Gabby Williams Under 33+ Points (-128)
We close out the night with a juicer return than we would normally jump on. Having said that, Gabby Williams is experiencing a serious decline in minutes since returning from the All-Star Weekend. Williams missed the first game back from the festivities due to rest. As is the case with Bueckers, the guard for the Valkyries seems to be in short supply of energy. Expect in the Williams' case, whatever is going on is causing her to lose playing time.
The veteran guard is averaging 19.5 minutes in the previous two games, compared to over 25 on the season. All it takes is for a poor shooting night for either Bueckers or Williams, and the 33+ total becomes extremely difficult to reach. Williams and Bueckers are combining for 28 points per game since returning from the All-Star festivities.
Enjoy the games tonight, and good luck with your picks.
