Sabrina Ionescu is averaging 15.9 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.0 rebounds across 24 games this season. The former #1 overall pick (2020) out of Oregon has also scored 12+ points in four straight and 17 of her last 18 games, a walking bucket of sorts. One place the former Duck has shown a propensity in recent weeks is the First Basket prop department. Sabs has scored the First Basket in five of her last 10 contests, including three cashes in her last five games at Barclays Center. She has scored or assisted on the first basket in back-to-back games and five of her last eight games overall.
This is a prop I normally reserve for my First Basket articles on Sunday and Tuesday, but I just had to bring these recent trends to your attention once I saw them today. The value in nearly a 6x return is simply toooooo good!
Sonia Citron Over 16.5 Points (-124)
Sonia Citron is averaging 16.9 points this season. She has scored at least 17 points in five of her last eight games overall and four of her last five away from CareFirst Arena.
Against a 16.5-point scoring prop this season, Citron is 19-16 (.543), having cashed six of her 12 games since the All-Star Break and eight of her last 14 overall. In those last 14 games, Mitchell is averaging 16.71 points per game, including 17.2 points on the road.
