Los Angeles Sparks vs. Connecticut Sun
Griner is listed on the injury report, so be sure to check her status to make sure she is playing. Now, she missed this total in her previous two games but made it in seven of her previous eight. Against most teams, I'd hesitate to go over a point total for Griner, but the Sparks have one of the worst defenses in the league. As long as she plays, she is going over this mark.
Pick: Brittney Griner Over 11.5 Points (-108)
Indiana Fever vs. Toronto Tempo
After going under this total in her last two games, I was planning on staying away from it for this game. However, Mitchell has averaged 26.9 points per game over her last 10 games, and Toronto has had the worst defense in the league over the same span (99 ppg allowed). She scored 27 against Toronto earlier in the year and should do as well, if not better, tonight.
Pick: Kelsey Mitchell Over 25.5 Points (-118)
Marina Mabrey is averaging 20.8 points per game this season. She has averaged 21.2 ppg over the last 10 but went over this total in just five. However, while the Fever have been playing well, their defense remains porous. Over the last 10 games, there have been eleven 20+ point games scored against them. With Satou Sabally and Julie Allemand out, the team will be leaning on her a little more to score some points.
Pick: Marina Mabrey Over 19.5 Points (-125)
New York Liberty vs. Chicago Sky
Cardoso has gone over this total in her last four games and in 10 of her last 15. She has averaged 15.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game over the last 10 games. Yet, New York has not been playing great defense lately (92.3 ppg allowed), with ten players going over this mark with points alone. She went under this total in two previous games vs. New York this season.
But with how well she's playing and New York's lax defense, she'll go over it this time.
Pick: Kamilla Cardoso Over 22.5 Pts + Reb (-104)
Atlanta Dream vs. Las Vegas Aces
Reese has gone over this total just once in her last five games, but nine times in her last 15. In her previous game against the Aces (August 3) this season, she scored 23. The Aces have not been doing too well on the defensive end lately, allowing teams to score 90.9 ppg (ninth). At least 13 players in the Aces’ last 10 games have gone over 15.5 points. Angel Reese is going to add to that side of the ledger.
Pick: Angel Reese Over 15.5 Points (-130)
