All 32 clubs participating in this year's FIFA Club World Cup now have a game under their belt, and it's time for the second matchday to commence. I'm looking to build on a 3-1 betting day from Tuesday's article, and I've once again listed wagers for all four matches today.
Here are my top FIFA Club World Cup soccer bets for Thursday, June 19th.

Thursday’s Best 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Picks & Predictions
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Palmeiras (-165) vs. Al Ahly (+295), DRAW (+475) | O/U 2.5 (+105/-130)
Thursday's opener comes out east in Group A, as Palmeiras (0-1-0) squares off against Al Ahly (0-1-0). Both squads earned scoreless draws in their first contests, meaning all four teams in the group are tied for first place. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
Egypt's Al Ahly held their own against Inter Miami in Miami on Saturday, pulling out a 0-0 draw. This defensive masterpiece wasn't an anomaly for The Red Devils, who are allowing only 0.7 goals per match over their last 14 outings in all competitions. They haven't suffered a single multi-goal loss during the span, going 8-5-1 during the stretch. I'll back them +0.5 goals at +130 in this contest.
They'll take on a Palmeiras side that hails from Brazil. The Big Green settled for a 0-0 draw against FC Porto in their opener, but they had previously gone 0-0-2 in their previous two Brazilian Serie A matches. They're averaging only 1.1 goals per match in their domestic league, so I like Al Ahly's chances to grind out a lower-scoring draw, or maybe even win outright.
Bet: Al Ahly +0.5 (+130)
Inter Miami CF (+360) vs. FC Porto (-140), DRAW (+310) | O/U 2.5 (-155/+125)
The other Group A clash on Thursday's slate will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, as Inter Miami CF (0-1-0) takes on FC Porto (0-1-0) in a highly anticipated matchup. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. ET.
FC Porto put together an excellent season domestically in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, going 22-5-7 and finishing in third place. They amassed a +35 goal differential (65:30) and allowed fewer than a goal per match during the season.
Both teams can score, so I lean toward the over in this match. However, for my best bet, I think we should simply back FC Porto on the Moneyline. Inter Miami CF's defense has been a liability in the MLS, as they're conceding 2.7 goals per match over their last six MLS games.
Now they'll have to step up and try to defend against a world-class FC Porto squad, and I just can't see them finding success in that venture. Give me FC Porto to take the three points against Inter Miami CF on Thursday afternoon.
Bet: FC Porto Moneyline (-140)
Seattle Sounders FC (+800) vs. Atletico Madrid (-320), DRAW (+450) | O/U 2.5 (-150/+120)
The action continues as we head out west for a Group B tilt between Seattle Sounders FC (0-0-1) and Atletico Madrid (0-0-1). Each team was on the losing end of their opener, so we should see some desperation as they each battle for a result. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m. ET from Lumen Field in Seattle, WA.
It was a disappointing showing from Atletico Madrid in their inaugural match, as they got hammered 4-0 by Paris Saint-Germain. Perhaps the scoreline was a bit misleading, though, as the Spanish side suffered a red card in the 78th minute, leading to two more PSG goals while they were down to 10 men. I like Atletico Madrid to bounce back and win convincingly on Thursday, so I'll lay the 1.5 goals with them in what will be a hostile Lumen Field.
It has been an underwhelming start to the season for Seattle, as they've managed a pedestrian 7-5-6 mark in the MLS. They have a +0 goal differential (25:25), and are conceding 1.4 goals per match. They also own an expected goals against (xGA) of 21.2, which equates to allowing more than one goal per match this season.
The Sounders have lost two straight matches entering the tournament, and I doubt they'll turn things around against a prestigious club of Atletico Madrid's caliber - even with the latter coming off a rout at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain. Give me the Mattress Makers to win by multiple goals.
Bet: Atletico Madrid -1.5 (-120)
Paris Saint-Germain (-500) vs. Botafogo (+1200), DRAW (+650) | O/U 3.5 (+125/-160)
The night concludes in California, with a couple of matchday one winners going toe-to-toe. Paris Saint-Germain (1-0-0) steamrolled Atletico Madrid 4-0 in the opener, while Botafogo (1-0-0) handled the Seattle Sounders 1-0 on Sunday. This contest gets underway at 9:00 p.m. ET from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
This is a pretty tough betting market since the recently crowned Kings of Europe are such massive favorites. They should manage to secure three more points in this game against an inferior opponent, but I have no interest in laying two or 2.5 goals. With that being said, I believe that the best way to wager on this match is to back Paris Saint-Germain to be leading at half time and at full time. It comes with a -170 price tag, but it appears to be a relatively safe way to bet on this match.
Paris Saint-Germain has been dominating teams recently, going 6-0-0 in their last six matches, while outscoring the opposition 21-3. That includes a string of three consecutive clean sheets, where the Parisians have scored before half time in each game.
Botafogo is just a modest 5-3-3 back home in the Brazilian Serie A. They have only conceded seven goals in 11 matches, but have an xGA of 11.4, signaling that they're due for negative regression defensively. I'll take Paris Saint-Germain to be leading after the first half and at full time.
Bet: Half-Time/Full-Time Leader: PSG/PSG (-170)
