    Saturday’s Best +EV MLB Picks

(All bets are for one unit unless otherwise stated.)

Coby Mayo Over .5 RBIs (+250 at Hard Rock Bet)

    • Fair Value: +183
    • Market EV: +24%

Over the last month, Coby Mayo has destroyed left-handed pitching. The righty has posted a .368 ISO and a .404 wOBA over the last month against lefties. Luckily for him, he’ll face Noah Cameron of the Royals, who has allowed a .231 ISO and a wOBA of .435 to his last 89 righties. The lefty starter has allowed a .381 BABIP and has given up over 37% of line drives, while adding just 13.5% strikeouts against righties over this stretch.

You can find Mayo to add at least one RBI at +250 via Hard Rock. Meanwhile, the fair value is at +183, giving this a 24% positive expected value. That’s remarkable!

JJ Wetherholt Over .5 Runs (+115 at Hard Rock Bet)

    • Fair Value: -122
    • Market EV: +18%

JJ Wetherholt has played so well recently that the Cardinals decided to extend an eight-year contract extension to their starting infielder. Wetherholt has hit a .164 ISO and a wOBA of .355 with only 10.1% of strikeouts against righties over the last month. The lefty should be able to put the ball in play against Reynaldo Lopez. Plus, five players below him have hit an ISO of at least .156 against righties over the last 30 days.

The Cardinals have a lot of potential against righties. If Wetherholt gets on, there are plenty of hitters who can drive him in.

Wetherholt is +115 to score at least one run. But his fair value is currently at -122. This is a huge EV play!

Ozzie Albies Over .5 Runs (+115 at Hard Rock Bet)

    • Fair Value: -104
    • Market EV: +10%

The Braves have to be excited about facing Matthew Liberatore of the St. Louis Cardinals. The lefty has allowed a .382 ISO and a .436 wOBA to his last 78 righties.

Ozzie Albies is a switch-hitter, but he’ll hit from the right side tonight. Albies has hit a .178 ISO and has limited his strikeouts to 6.2% against lefties over the last 30 days. Albies should put the ball in play and could also show off some power against Liberatore.

Ultimately, you can land Albies to add at least one run at +115, when the fair value is set at -104. That’s another huge play in the MLB.
