Tuesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays

(Odds Courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds

Leg #1: Yoshinobu Yamamoto 8+ Strikeouts (-111)

Yoshinobu Yamamoto faced the Reds in his last outing, pitching seven solid innings, giving up three hits and just a single run while striking out 10.

Yamamoto has recorded at least eight strikeouts in his last five starts, and the Reds are averaging just under 10 punchouts per game over the last week.

Leg #2: Dodgers -1.5 (-138)

The Reds are hitting .199 over the last week; I don't see them getting back on track against Yoshinobu Yamamoto and his .182 opponents’ batting average on the road.

The Dodgers’ lineup, on the other hand, should have no problem generating a few runs against Rhett Lowder (1.53 WHIP, .273 opponents’ batting average) and covering the run line.

Leg #3: Under 8.5 Runs (+102)

I expect the Dodgers to generate a few runs off Rhett Lowder, but with how they've been hitting (.232 over the last week), don't count on a big day from them.

Parlay Odds: +443 - A $100 wager will result in a $543 payday; your stake plus $443 in winnings.

New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins

Leg #1: Yankees -1.5 (-104)

Minnesota has been struggling at the plate lately, hitting an MLB-worst .189 and scoring 13 runs in their last five games. They are going to have a hard time getting any traction against Max Fried. He has been solid on the road this season, going 4-2 in 10 road starts while posting a 2.47 ERA and a .199 opponents’ batting average.

Baily Ober has been good at home - 5-1 with a 3.16 ERA and a .209 opponents’ batting average. He may slow down the Yankees a little, but they are hitting well enough lately for the team to still cover the run line in this game - a .260 batting average with 34 runs scored over the last week.

Leg #2: Max Fried Under 4.5 Strikeouts (+116)

Max Fried is having a solid season, but his strikeout numbers are nothing special. He has gone under this total in three of his last four games, but the under is 4-4 in his last eight.

The Twins have not been doing much at the plate and have not been striking out much, recording 46 punchouts in five games over the last week.

Leg #3: Spencer Jones 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110)

Spencer Jones is swinging a hot bat in recent games, hitting safely in seven of his last eight and posting multi-hit games in his last three.

Jones has exceeded this mark in eight out of 12 games this month, including four in a row. He has gone hitless in his last two games, but he is having a great month and will get back on track tonight against Bailey Ober.

Parlay Odds: +551 - A $100 wager will result in a $651 payday; your stake plus $551 in winnings.
