The Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants take center stage on Sunday Night Football in an NFC East battle in New Jersey. The Cowboys are slight road favorites, which might allow them to lean on their workhorse running back. Conversely, the Giants are home underdogs, which could lead their second-year quarterback to drop back often. Those are the expectations for the following NFL Sunday Night Football same game parlay (SGP).

NFL Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Cowboys vs. Giants
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
- Leg 1: Jaxson Dart Over 31.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
- Leg 2: Javonte Williams Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-112)
- Leg 3: Javonte Williams Over 17.5 Rush Attempts (-125)
- Leg 4: Jake Ferguson Under 29.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
The Giants are 3.0-point underdogs, which could force Jaxson Dart to drop back a bit in a negative game script. That said, even if John Harbaugh, Matt Nagy and Greg Roman have aspirations of playing a physical, ground-and-pound brand of football, this probably isn’t the ideal week to do so.
Quinnen Williams is a big needle-mover for Dallas’ defense. According to the Fantasy Points Data Suite 2.0, the Cowboys faced a 1.6% pass rate over expected (PROE) through their first 10 games of the 2025 season. The NFL average last season was a 0.4% PROE. In the seven games Williams played for the Cowboys last season after they traded for him (he missed one game after he was acquired), they faced an eye-popping 8.4% PROE. For perspective, the Cardinals led the NFL in PROE at 7.3%.
Williams almost certainly wasn’t the only reason teams attacked the Cowboys through the air. Their secondary was dreadful, and they’ve revamped the back end in the offseason. Still, the surge in PROE coinciding with the acquisition of Williams probably wasn’t a coincidence, either.
Dropbacks that result in passes won’t help Dart reach the over on 31.5 rushing yards. However, Dart is lethal as a scrambler and does so frequently. He was ninth in scramble yards (290) in only 12 starts and six combined snaps in two relief appearances. Dart scrambled 38 times on 412 dropbacks (9.2% scramble rate).
Per Pro-Football-Reference, Dart averaged 28.3 rushing yards per game as a starter. Of course, that included trips to the blue medical tent. Dart surpassed 31.5 rushing yards in eight of his 12 starts last season, and he should start the year with over 31.5 rushing yards against the Cowboys, even if he’s forced to drop back in a negative game script and gets there via scrambling.
A negative game script for Dart would be a positive one for Javonte Williams. He averaged 75.1 rushing yards per game on 15.8 rush attempts per game. According to the Fantasy Points Data Suite 2.0, Williams averaged 17.9 rush attempts per game and 91.6 rushing yards per game.
Williams might also have a decent matchup. Running backs stomped the Giants for the second-most rushing yards per game (115.8) at a clip of 5.52 yards per carry last season, on 21.0 rush attempts per game. They traded Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals, but they signed both DJ Reader and Shelby Harris. They also spent a first-round pick on Arvell Reese and signed Tremaine Edmunds. So, it might no longer be a disastrous run defense, but there are moving parts, and it was putrid in 2025.
Williams should be busy as a ball-carrier. The Cowboys released Jaydon Blue, and Malik Davis is on injured reserve (IR) after suffering a serious injury this week. Emari Demercado and Israel Abanikanda are the running backs behind Williams on the depth chart. Hunter Luepke could get a short-yardage carry or play on some long-down-and-distance situations as a pass-blocker, but Williams should be a workhorse and clear 17.5 rush attempts and 75.5 rushing yards.
Jake Ferguson’s under 29.5 receiving yards is the fourth and final leg of this SGP, and his splits with and without CeeDee Lamb were stark last season. He was excellent without Lamb, and he was buried when Lamb was healthy. In 13 games that Lamb played at least 20 snaps last season, Ferguson had the following numbers:
- 69.8% route participation rate
- 14.1% target share
- 0.18 targets per route run (TPRR)
- 8.7% air yards share
- 4.0 receptions per game
- 30.5 receiving yards per game
- 1.07 yards per route run (YPRR)
Additionally, in his final four games, Ferguson had two, three, one and one receptions for 16, 19, 6 and 5 receiving yards. Unless this game turns into a shootout, Ferguson should fail to exceed 29.5 receiving yards.
Parlay Odds: +675
