NFL Week 4 Confidence Pool Picks
(1) Eagles | Rams vs. Eagles
After last week’s beatdown, many people will stay away from the Eagles. But at home, in a normal 1:00 p.m. ET start time, the Eagles will likely regroup. After all, the Rams looked just as bad in the second half against the Broncos in their collapse.
(2) Giants | Cardinals vs. Giants
The Giants still have a favorable schedule in the first half of the season. They’ll take advantage, and Jamesis Winston will likely improve with J.J. McCarthy coming over. That’ll put some pressure on him.
(3) Falcons | Falcons vs. Saints
Michael Penix Jr. has changed the Falcons’ perspective in just one week.
(4) Browns | Steelers vs. Browns
Alright, fine. The Browns are actually playing good football, sitting at 2-1. Deshaun Watson is performing above expectations during this two-game winning streak.
(5) Panthers | Lions vs. Panthers
The Panthers have been so unpredictable. That said, I’d expect the passing game to get going against the Lions’ secondary this weekend.
(6) Bears | Jets vs. Bears
If Case Keenum limits turnovers, the sky is the limit for the Bears.
(7) Bengals | Bengals vs. Jaguars
Look for the Bengals to rebound after a tough loss to the Steelers last week. The defense is better than that.
(8) Texans | Cowboys vs. Texans
We’ve seen this story before. The Texans are 0-3. They’ve done this twice before and still made the playoffs both times.
(9) Colts | Colts vs. Commanders
I’m not buying into the Marcus Mariota hype just yet.
(10) Bills | Patriots vs. Bills
Drake Maye doesn’t look like himself right now.
(11) 49ers | Broncos vs. 49ers
Ultimately, the 49ers have been the more consistent team entering Week 4.
(12) Chiefs | Chiefs vs. Raiders
We’ll see if the Raiders are the real deal. I don’t think they are.
(13) Packers | Packers vs. Buccaneers
Will Jalon Daniels surprise as Tampa Bay’s quarterback? It’s unlikely.
(14) Ravens | Titans vs. Ravens
This is a solid get-right spot for the Baltimore Ravens, despite the team being 2-1.
(15) Seahawks | Chargers vs. Seahawks
The Seahawks should rebound after a pretty pathetic Week 3 showing.
(16) Vikings | Dolphins vs. Vikings
The Dolphins lost De’Von Achane for the season. That effectively ends the Dolphins’ season.
