Elite Nation vs. Best Virginia
Elite Nation had a very odd performance in their Round of 32 matchup against the Court Street Kings. The team scored 30 points in the third quarter but only three points in the entire fourth quarter before the Elam Ending. That said, the offense still shot over 60% from the field. They rarely got to the foul line and still turned the ball over 18 times in the game, while forcing five turnovers.
On the other hand, Best Virginia earned an 82-75 win over Herd That. Vincent Mitchell and James Reese V each contributed at least 20 points. Kedrian Johnson scored 18 points. Other than JD Weatherspoon, the bench was pretty weak. The offense isn’t as good as Elite Nation’s. Ultimately, Elite Nation needs to be more aggressive to get to the foul line. Additionally, the turnover margin needs to improve. They’ll make the adjustments.
