The National Hockey League (NHL) has a single playoff game on tap, but it’s a doozy. The Winnipeg Jets and Dallas Stars play Game 6 of their Western Conference series at American Airlines Center in Dallas at 8 p.m. ET. That game can be viewed or streamed on ABC and ESPN+. In our second parlay option, we’ll do a deeper dive into the stats. A good rule of thumb is to never make a singular wager where you must risk more than two times your potential return. However, including bets like that, especially for prop plays, in a same-game parlay (SGP), is perfectly OK.
Gabriel Vilardi has had at least two shots on goal (SOG) in each of his eight postseason games. There is no reason to believe he won’t get to at least two SOG in this one. The rub with playing these props is that he must hit the mark in regulation. If he has one shot in regulation, and the game goes to overtime where he hits two SOG, you would lose. Be mindful of that.
We’re going to sound a bit crazy here, too. Go to your betting app and load up on nine other players to get at least one shot on goal. You can play the heaviest favorites, if you’d like. Again, NEVER bet them straight up. But, Mark Scheifele, Wyatt Johnston, Roope Hintz, Jason Robertson, etc. – it’s hard to imagine any of them not having at least one SOG in this game.
We’ll roll with Jake Oettinger to go Over in saves, too. The Jets are decisive underdogs here, and if desperation sets in during the third period, they could be throwing the kitchen sink at Otter. He made 31 saves in each of the past two games, so getting to 26 in an elimination game seems like a slam-dunk play.
This four-leg play could help you multiply up by nearly six times, but, again, you could enhance that dramatically by including several players to get 1+ SOG (60 min.)
