La Liga Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (10/30)

This weekend, we have some interesting La Liga matches to look forward to. Many of the teams near the top of the table are taking on some of the squads near the bottom. But could that provide some opportunities for some upsets?

I've detailed what I expect from those matches. Here are the best bets for the La Liga games being played on Friday, October 30.

La Liga Picks & Predictions: Week 10

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Barcelona vs. Alavés

Barcelona was playing like the best team in La Liga during their first nine matches. But in their most recent contest against Real Madrid, Barcelona lost 2-1.

Will Barcelona let this become a downward trend? Or will they bounce back in a resounding way?

Alavés hasn't been bad this season. They're currently in the top half of the table with a 3-3-4 record. But here's the thing: They haven't won any of their last six matches.

I'm going with Barcelona to win - and win by at least three goals.

Pick: Barcelona -2.5 (-130)

Elche vs. Valencia

Both of these squads have struggled at different points this season. Both of them are also in the bottom half of the table.

However Elche has at least shown some promise lately. They've had a win or draw in each of their last five total matches. Valencia, meanwhile, hasn't won any of its last four.

I like Elche to win at home. I also expect Ezequiel Ponce to score first.

Picks: Elche Wins (+130) and Ezequiel Ponce 1st Goalscorer (+500)

Athletic Club vs. Real Sociedad

These two squads are relatively close to each other in the La Liga table. Real Sociedad is fifth with 19 points at 6-1-3, but Athletic Club isn't too far away with 12 points at 3-3-3.

Athletic Club is the favorite but I'm going with Real Sociedad. They've won their last three total matches by a collective score of 13-3 and haven't lost since Sept. 17.

I believe Real Sociedad will win and Luka Sucic, who is tied for the team lead with three goals, will score at some point.

Picks: Real Sociedad (+230) and Luka Sucic Anytime Goalscorer  (+400)
