Cleveland Guardians vs. Boston Red Sox
Leg #1: Guardians Moneyline (+110)
Cleveland comes into this game on a roll with wins in their last five games. Boston, meanwhile, has dropped three of its last five, including its last two.
With the Red Sox hitting an MLB-worst .192 over the last week and the Guardians starting Parker Messick (12-9, 2.57 ERA), Cleveland should win this game outright.
Leg #2: Under 6.5 Runs (+102)
I'm hesitant to go with the under on such a low total. But Parker Messick has been solid in recent weeks. He hasn't allowed more than three runs in a game since he allowed four to Texas on June 29th.
Payton Tolle has allowed more than three runs just once in his last eight starts. Boston has struggled to make contact over the last week (.218 batting average). Don't expect much improvement tonight against Messick.
Cleveland has been decent at the plate, but I wouldn't expect too much against Tolle.
Leg #3: Parker Messick Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-142)
Parker Messick has gone over this total in his last five starts and in 11 of his last 12. Boston has been averaging just over seven strikeouts per game over the last week. Messick has been a solid strikeout pitcher this season. Today will be no different.

Washington Nationals vs. Detroit Tigers
Leg #1: Tigers -1.5 (+138)
Neither team has had a good season, but the Tigers are playing better baseball right now, hitting .279 over the last week. They should have a solid day against Jackson Kent.
However, with the Nationals hitting just .205 over the last week, I can't say they'll do much at the plate today. Detroit should easily cover the run line, much like it did yesterday.
Leg #2: Over 8.5 Runs (+100)
Detroit has been hitting well lately, recording nine runs and 12 hits last night against the Nationals. With the way both teams looked yesterday and Jackson Kent on the mound, they could absolutely have another day like that.
However, with the Tigers on a bullpen day, the Nationals’ lineup will contribute enough to push the final score over this mark.
Leg #3: Kevin McGonigle 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)
Kevin McGonigle has been hitting well over the last week (.318). He has hit safely in seven of his last nine games and has exceeded this total in all seven.
With how badly Jackson Kent has been struggling in September (7.62 ERA and .291 opponents’ batting average), I like McGonigle's chance of hitting the over again today.
