There will be five games played in the NBA this Friday evening, and there is certainly no shortage of betting options to consider despite the small slate. Here are some of our favorite NBA player props for Friday, February 27th.
Jarrett Allen 27+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-109)
Jarrett Allen paid off on a small assists total (two assists, +118 return) in wonderful fashion on Sunday. With Donovan Mitchell once again unable to take the floor this evening, we are electing to pivot to a points + rebounds + assists combo prop that offers a small edge. Allen is coming off a tremendous performance on Wednesday, and he could be in line for a similar showing tonight.
The Cavaliers center finished with 27 points, 11 boards and one assist against the Milwaukee Bucks two nights ago. Allen put up 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists in only 25 minutes when the Cavaliers faced Detroit earlier this season. The veteran center is averaging 22 points, 11.8 boards and 1.8 dimes per game over the last 10 contests.
Allen is averaging 21.6 points, 11.8 boards and 1.2 assists in the previous five games played against an Eastern Conference opponent. The big man for the Cavaliers accumulated 27+ combined points + rebounds + assists in four out of his last five games facing an opponent from the Eastern Conference. Allen has reached a combined 27+ points + rebounds + assists in seven out of the previous 10 games.
Jalen Duren 30+ Points + Rebounds (-118)
For the next selection, we stay in the same game and position. Jalen Duren is certainly gaining steam heading towards the last 20 games of the season. Duren has now absolutely crushed the suggested points + rebounds totals over the past three contests. There's a very good reason to believe he once again clears his points + rebounds prop line tonight against Cleveland.
Duren has tallied a combined 30+ points + rebounds in five out of the last seven games. The Pistons center is averaging 18.4 points and 11.4 boards when playing at home on the season. Duren is averaging 19.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game over the last 10 contests.
The young center is averaging 26.7 points on 68% shooting from the field and 14 rebounds through the last three games. The juice on the double-double for Duren is out of hand at -196, so this makes for a much more logical play. The next level is at 35+ points + rebounds with a +222 return. We will play it somewhat safe and bet on Duren to record a combined 30+ points + rebounds.
Derrick White 5+ Rebounds (+124)
Derrick White is currently on a rebounding streak that we feel could be an area to exploit for this contest against the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn played last night. On the second leg of a back-to-back, it wouldn't be surprising for the more efficient Nets players to sit this contest out. The Nets already shoot a league-worst 44.4% as a team. If a starter or two is ruled out, there will definitely be opportunities for rebounds.
White is averaging 4.5 rebounds per game this season. The veteran guard has hauled in five or more rebounds in four consecutive games. White is averaging six rebounds per game over that span.
The Celtics guard has finished with five rebounds in six out of the last 10 games against an Eastern Conference opponent. White is averaging 5.1 boards in those 10 contests. The blowout risk against a Brooklyn team looking to land a top spot in the draft is obviously a concern. However, we feel the sweat is well worth the +124 return on this rebounding prop.
GG Jackson 16+ Points (-122)
As is the case with the Jarrett Allen selection, GG Jackson will more than likely be the focal point of the offense for Memphis in this contest. Santi Aldama and Ty Jerome have already been listed as out for Friday, which should tremendously open up the opportunities for Jackson.
Jackson is averaging 17 points per game on 56.5% shooting from the field through his last 10 contests. Jackson has finished with 16+ points in five consecutive contests. The young forward has also scored 16+ points in two straight road games. Jackson is averaging 16.2 points in six road games in February.
The number could increase to 17+, given his recent success. You'll probably want to get to the window early on this prop to ensure the best payout possible. Jackson is delivering wins on points prop at a very high rate currently, and we feel that continues tonight against the Dallas Mavericks.
Cason Wallace 15+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)
Cason Wallace is tearing the floor up lately on this combo prop, and we expect the production to continue. Even though Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could return tonight, Wallace can still record at least 16 combined points + rebounds + assists.
The young guard has combined for at least 15+ combined points + rebounds + assists in 10 out of the previous 15 games. Wallace is averaging 15 points, 4.9 assists and 3.8 boards in February. The Thunder guard is averaging 11.4 points, 2.8 boards and 1.4 assists in the last five games played with Gilgeous-Alexander.
While Gilgeous-Alexander will probably play, there's always the chance he isn't ready to play 35+ minutes in his first game back. Any extra playing time for Wallace will play in our favor in clearing this combo prop.
Enjoy the games tonight. Best of luck with your picks.
