The NBA is back, and I'm here to provide the best NBA player props for you to build your bankroll across the season. Last year was another successful season, and I plan on running it back again. As always, monitor any potential news and lineup announcements.
The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay up-to-date with the latest news. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you get the best value.

Nikola Jokic Over 48.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-115)
It seems like there's a consistent trend in the NBA where bookmakers think Nikola Jokic is human and his props are low. Sure, he may not have had the career performances as expected against the Thunder or Warriors, but he's been hovering around this line and is coming off an easy cover on the road at Minnesota.
Now he gets to face the Pelicans at home, where Zion Williamson is questionable, so it will be all on Yves Missi and... Derik Queen? Missi is a solid rim defender, but he's only averaged around 20 minutes a game. Jokic can do it all, and the Pelicans are already at the bottom of the barrel defensively. Obviously, it's early in the season, but taking Jokic over with one of the highest totals on the slate is never something I need convincing of. This line is simply too low against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Amen Thompson Over 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Toronto is the first team that qualifies as the "fast-paced, bad defense" NBA team. They're fourth in the league in pace and in the bottom six in defense. It's early in the season, I know, but it's data. Houston is favored on the road in Toronto, and Amen Thompson is showing signs of taking another step forward.
Thompson’s usage rate is at 21.5% three games into the season, and he's due for additional boards with four in each of his first three games. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects Thompson at 26 on the combo prop, and I live and die by the cheat sheet. It's essentially the Holy Grail. The sheet will help with all things betting, and I highly advise using it if you don't already. Thompson's prop will continue rising this season, so I'd jump on the train before it leaves the station.
Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 20.5 Points + Assists (-115)
I'm still in my early-season over mania, and we're going to keep riding with Jaren Jackson Jr. to finish out the night in Phoenix. He has been hovering around this line in four games, but he's due for more and has been consistent.
Phoenix has been the second-worst defense team in the league so far this year, and that's not looking to change. This is another game with a high over/under, so I am going to do what I can to invest in the over props in this game. His usage rate is 26%, right around his career average. Look for him to go over this combined points + assists prop.
