It's another day of NBA play. With the first couple of weeks of the season in the books, we have a good first handful of data under our belts. We've started the year off hot with our NBA player props, and I intend to keep that going tonight.
As always, monitor any potential news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay up-to-date with the latest news. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you get the best value. We have 12 games today, so plenty of options to cover. Let's get to it.
Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be for a single unit.

Last Season: 174-125 | This Season: 14-7 | Last Time: 1-1
Alex Sarr Under 28.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-115 at Hard Rock Bet)
We start today by fading the Washington Wizards center. Alex Sarr has been playing well lately and has covered this line in five straight games. I expect that to be the reason why it's so elevated. However, Houston is not the team to bet against on overs. The Rockets have been playing at the third-slowest pace. They also boast the eighth-best defense and have allowed the fourth-fewest combined points + assists + rebounds to opposing centers.
Against better defenses, Sarr has struggled, posting 10 points against Orlando and 14 versus Oklahoma City. The total in this game is 233, but only because of how Washington plays. Houston will control the pace of play and limit Sarr's possession rate. This is an easy under.
Josh Giddey Under 30.5 Points + Assists (-120 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Another team with a solid defense and slow pace of play is the Detroit Pistons. Chicago has to travel to Detroit, where the Bulls take a hit offensively. They are 1-3 away from the United Center and rank 22nd offensively in advanced metrics. Detroit ranks fourth defensively with a 9-2 record and will pace down Josh Giddey and Co.
This line is confusing, as Giddey is coming back from a right ankle sprain, so he might not even play tonight. He’s currently expected to start, but even without any injury designation, this line is too high. Considering he might be a bit limited physically and with playing time, jump on the under before any additional news comes out about his status.
Kon Knueppel Under 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-120 at Hard Rock Bet)
This is around that time of the season where everyone overreacts to the amount of games played and fully buys into a player. Forgive me for betting unders here, but I'm just selling high while I can. For Kon Knueppel, it's been an interesting start to his NBA career. He may have covered this line in four straight games, but to start the season, he had just one game in the first five where he recorded a combined 25 points + assists.
Milwaukee can be a bit of a scary matchup for fading this spot, but I'm trusting the numbers. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet puts this number closer to 18 on the combo prop, which is some insane value. The cheat sheet is hands down the best tool out there, and if you haven't used it yet, it's a must for all your betting needs. Knueppel is due for a down game, and I'm picking tonight to be the night.
