Happy Monday all! Following a day off for all the NBA teams on Sunday, there are 13 games on tap tonight, giving us ample options for player props. As always, my three favorite NBA PrizePicks player predictions will be posted here on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Let’s jump right into it for this Monday, Dec. 11.
Monday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 32-24
Isaiah Stewart Over 19.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
There isn’t a better situational spot than this for Isaiah Stewart. The Detroit Pistons have already ruled out Jalen Duren, and Marvin Bagley III is doubtful to suit up, leaving Stewart as effectively the only capable big-man for Detroit. Taking on Indiana is as good as it gets for bigs too, considering they’re allowing the most points in the paint. They also play at the fastest pace and have the third-worst defensive net rating in the league. In games without Duren when he has played 22+ minutes, Stewart has PRA totals of 22, 32, 30, 23, 23 and 11. He had 17 PRA against them earlier this year, but that was with both Duren and Bagley around.
Aaron Gordon Over 22.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Gordon is coming off an atrocious performance against the Houston Rockets but is set up for a bounce-back game playing the Atlanta Hawks. They are already without Jalen Johnson, and De’Andre Hunter is questionable to go as well. That leaves Sadiq Bey - undersized compared to Gordon - to guard him. As it is, the Hawks are allowing the fifth-most points, sixth-most rebounds and second-most assists to opposing power forwards. Additionally, Atlanta plays at the third fastest pace, allowing the fourth most points in the paint. Against teams that are bottom 10 in PITP, Gordon has a PRA log of 27 (vs SAC), 27 (vs DET), 32 (vs DAL) and 31 (vs UTA).
Coby White Over 28.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
Wrapping things up for the PRA fest this Monday, is Coby White taking on the Milwaukee Bucks. They have permitted the third-most points per game to points guards, and he has been on a roll as of late without Zach LaVine in the fold. In six games played without LaVine this season, White has recorded 29+ PRA in each contest, averaging 35.2 per game. The Bucks are also 22nd in defensive net rating and fifth in pace, which should create even more stat-padding opportunities for Coby.
