NFL Week 3 Teasers: Picks & Predictions (2025)

NFL Week 3 Teasers: Picks & Predictions (2025)

One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points - like 6.0, 6.5, or 7.0 - in a direction that lowers risk.

Teaser Tips to Follow:

  • Never cross over 0
  • Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7
  • Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or fewer

Below are three NFL Week 3 teasers, along with my best teaser bet.

NFL Week 3 Teaser Picks

(Odds via Caesars Sportsbook)

Houston Texans (+1.5 to +7.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

If you backed the Texans last week on Monday Night Football, like I did, this may be a tough pill to swallow, but we are going back to them again this week.

At 0-2, this is a desperation spot. Since 2018, only one team (ironically, the Texans) has made the playoffs after starting 0-3. Despite the record, Houston hasn't looked terrible. They've kept both the Rams and Buccaneers under 21 points and have only been outscored by six total points.

Jacksonville has plenty of issues of its own. In a divisional matchup, I expect Houston to be the more physical and motivated team. Texans can win outright, but I'll gladly take the +7.5 cushion.

Kansas City Chiefs (-6 to pick’em) vs. New York Giants

I would love this a lot more if the Chiefs were playing at home, but even still, I could easily see myself using the Chiefs in a few teaser legs as they just need an outright win.

Both teams enter 0-2, but I trust the Chiefs' talent and pedigree much more. The Giants looked like world-beaters for stretches against Dallas, but much of that was fool's gold-Dallas' pass defense ranks 31st in expected points added (EPA)/play per dropback.

The Chiefs haven’t been much better, but they are better. This could be a letdown spot for the Giants after an emotional loss. I like the Chiefs straight up.

Seattle Seahawks (-7.5 to -1.5) vs. New Orleans Saints

The Seahawks are coming off an impressive win in Pittsburgh, while the Saints played a highly contested game with the 49ers before ultimately losing 26-21.

And while I may see that as an encouragement, we have to remember the 49ers were without Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk.

The Saints are a feisty team and Spencer Rattle probably just played his best game as a pro. This Saint defense is mediocre, at best, however. They just allowed Mac Jones to throw for 279 yards and three touchdowns with zero turnovers.

I love Seattle to win easily at home.

Fun Fact: The Seahawks are 12-3 against the spread in their last 15 home games.
