Winnipeg Jets (+130) at Dallas Stars (-155) | O/U 5.5 (-108/-112)

The Winnipeg Jets once again face elimination, as they need to win tonight to force a Game 7 at home. They were able to extend the series with their second 4-0 win of the series in Game 5. Winnipeg’s ups and downs during the entire playoffs are a far cry from the dominance we saw during the regular season.

In the playoffs, they have not been able to find that consistency. The offense has also had problems, especially from its forwards. After scoring 12 points in the first round, Kyle Connor had a quiet start to the series with zero points in the first two games. He's starting to get hot, with four pints in the last three games, including two assists in Game 5.

Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck has been the most inconsistent of everyone. He just had his second shutout of the playoffs, but he has also allowed five or more goals in four games, all of which were on the road.

On top of their issues, Winnipeg is traveling to Dallas, where the Stars have dominated. Dallas has five straight home wins and outscored the Jets 8-3 in their two home games this series

Dallas got a big boost back with the return of Miro Heiskanen. He is an incredible two-way defenseman, and his minutes should significantly increase as he plays his third game. Goalie Jake Oettinger is also a far better netminder at home, with a 2.14 GAA during the regular season at home compared to 3.15 on the road. During this series, he has a .948 save percentage at home compared to .910 on the road.

It all favors Dallas, and they could be part of something rare. The Stars could be the fourth team in NHL history to be shut out twice and still win the series, and it would be the first time since 2015. The Stars do not want to send this back to Winnipeg, where they have struggled. They could end this tonight.

Pick: Stars Moneyline (-155)
