Saturday's Best WNBA Player Props & Picks

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Courtney Williams Over 6.5 Assists (+108)

We open our selections with an assists total that comes across a bit too low considering recent performances. Courtney Williams has dished out 34 assists over the last four games, including 13 in the last contest against New York on Thursday..
The Minnesota guard has recorded seven or more assists in six out of the previous eight contests. Williams finished with five assists when these teams met last. However, she was only on the floor for 27 minutes. We expect a normal allotment of around 30 minutes this time around.
Las Vegas is certainly not one of the tougher teams in the WNBA in terms of limiting points. The Aces concede the fifth-most points and assists across the league. Williams leads the league in assists with 7.8 per game over the last five contests.

Napheesa Collier Top Points Scorer (+130)

Our next selection has had no difficulty in displaying dominance this season, and we feel this may be a solid prop to exploit for a few different reasons. Napheesa Collier has cemented herself as one of the top MVP candidates this season, and the veteran gets a favorable matchup against the Aces on the road this afternoon.
The Minnesota forward is shooting over 48% from the field in the last four road games, while knocking down 1.3 baskets from beyond the arc per game. Collier is attempting the second-most amount of field goals over that span, averaging 16.5 per game. The veteran out of UConn scored 25 points in 26 minutes in the last matchup against Las Vegas.
Collier is averaging the most points of any player over the previous 10 contests and is knocking down over 54% of her attempts in those games. The Lynx forward is scoring an average of 25 points when playing on the road.

Napheesa Collier 2+ Three-Pointers Made (+138)

This selection is a bit more ambitious than the previous two. Having said that, the sixth-year standout has been putting up a few extra shots from beyond the arc as of late, and may be in a great position to land this plus bet.
The Minnesota Forward has recorded at least two three-pointers in the previous two games. Collier has also made two baskets from beyond the arc in three of the last six games, shooting over 54% from deep over that span.
Las Vegas is one of the top teams in the league in defending three-point baskets. That said, Collier connected on 1-of-2 attempts in the last meeting between the two teams. With a few more minutes on the floor in this contest, the MVP candidate can certainly knock down at least two three-pointers.

A'ja Wilson Under 32.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

A'ja Wilson is another player who has been playing at an extremely high level as of late, so this recommendation is in no way a discredit to her current form. The issue in this contest will be the opposing defense, in which the Minnesota Lynx are one of the best at limiting points.
The Lynx are allowing the fewest amount of points to date, with the second-lowest field goal rate. Minnesota owns the highest defensive rating in the WNBA and ranks fourth in points allowed in the paint. Wilson has made the most field goals from inside the paint (83), and her field-goal percentage drops over 16% on baskets from between eight to 24 feet from the rim.
The Las Vegas forward scored 15 points with seven boards when the Lynx and Aces faced off last. The reigning MVP only managed 45% from the field on 11 attempts while playing 24 minutes. Wilson has exceeded a combined 32.5 points + rebounds in one out of the last three contests.

Kayla McBride 15+ Points (+136)

The veteran out of Notre Dame has assumed a much more prominent offensive role as we get deeper into the season. Kayla McBride has recorded 15+ points in five of the past seven games and has knocked down 21 three-pointers over that span.
The Minnesota guard is connecting on 45.9% of her attempts from the field in the last seven games. McBride finished with 13 points when these two teams played a little over a week ago in 28 minutes on the floor. We expect the sharpshooter to have a much more efficient day than her 4-of-12 outing last time.
McBride is averaging 16 points per game over the last seven games, while knocking down at least three baskets from outside the perimeter. She scored 24 points in her last contest and is in a great situation to score at least 15 points today against Las Vegas.
Enjoy the game today and good luck with your picks.
