This time, local star Song Yadong is taking on Umar Nurmagomedov in a top-10 bantamweight main event. Both men are likely fighting for a title shot against the winner of the bantamweight title trilogy bout between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili, which takes place at UFC 333 in October. The rest of the card is stacked with local fighters, including two more ranked matchups. The card starts on Saturday at 3 a.m. EDT, with the main card starting at 6 a.m. EDT on Paramount+.

Jack Jenkins (+134) vs. Sean Woodson (–164)
Jack Jenkins has a big disadvantage in this matchup, but he can overcome it. He is entering this fight after a win over Ramon Taveras in September 2025. The 32-year-old has had about a year to improve his wrestling and grappling, which should help him in this matchup.
Jenkins is facing Sean Woodson, who last fought in April 2025 against Dan Ige. Ige knocked him out in the third round, so it is reasonable for Woodson to take a break to recover. Woodson's advantage in this matchup, which is typical for him, is his size and reach. He has a 10-inch reach advantage over Jenkins and a seven-inch height advantage. Woodson uses his length well as a former boxer, fighting from range behind his jab.
Jenkins' key in this matchup is getting Woodson to the mat. He landed three takedowns in his last fight and must find the same success this time out. Jenkins has heavy kicks, but he is susceptible to counters against the long Woodson if he plans to use them. He must use all facets of his skill set to set up his kicks, which can hurt the long legs of Woodson.
Woodson defends 84% of takedowns in the UFC, but has struggled when his opponent gets him to the mat. He also cuts a lot of weight at his stature in the 145-pound division. His cardio has improved in recent fights, but weight cuts get more difficult with age. The 34-year-old Woodson is pushing the limits, and Jenkins can exploit that with a solid game plan.

Yan Xiaonan (–158) vs. Denise Gomes (+128)
The co-main event is a ranked matchup between a former title challenger and an up-and-coming fighter on a four-fight win streak. Yan Xiaonan is coming off a loss to Virna Jandiroba in April 2025, losing by unanimous decision. Before that, she beat Tabatha Ricci and lost to Zhang Weili in a title fight in April 2024.
She is fighting Denise Gomes, who is 6-2 in the UFC and has worked her way into the top-15 of the women's strawweight division. She has four consecutive wins over Tecia Pennington, Elise Reed, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and Eduarda Moura.
Yan is a striker who has fought some of the best fighters in the division. She is 37 and has had a long layoff, which is worrisome at that age. Gomes is an active fighter with a solid, all-around skill set. Gomes lands 1.45 takedowns per 15 minutes with 34% accuracy. She is a pressure fighter, which gives Yan trouble. Zhang used pressure to get inside against Yan, which Gomes can duplicate, although not at that level.
Gomes is a tough fighter and can blitz Yan to get inside. Gomes can land heavy punches inside and can find a takedown to mix things up in this matchup. Yan only defends 64% of takedowns in the UFC. It is hard to finish Yan, but Gomes can utilize a well-rounded attack to win this fight on the scorecards.
