We’re headed to the semi-finals of The Basketball Tournament (TBT). In the first game of today’s semi-final doubleheader, it’ll be Eberlein Drive versus Best Virginia (West Virginia Alumni). Following that game, it’ll be We Are D3 against the Aftershocks (Wichita State Alumni). Both games currently have 3.5-point spreads, so the expectation is that both games will be tight and close. I’ve added a best bet for each game and shared the bets below. Check it out. Here are our top The Basketball Tournament picks for Thursday’s semi-final We Are D3 vs. Aftershocks.

Here are our top picks for today's The Basketball Tournament action.
We Are D3 vs. Aftershocks
We Are D3 got out to an enormous lead over Fail Harder through the first four quarters. However, when the Elam Ending number popped up on the screen, everything changed. We Are D3 was outscored 27-9 during that stretch and held on to win by two points. The starting lineup has a lot of talent on offense. However, the bench is slim, and it took a toll on them down the stretch.
Conversely, the Aftershocks came through with a 74-68 win over Heartfire in their quarter-final game. They didn’t shoot as well as We Are D3 in the quarters, but the defense was terrific. They held Heartfire to just 68 points and gave up only 12 foul shots in the entire game. They also limited Heartfire to 20.7% from downtown on 29 attempts.
In that game, the Aftershocks had seven different players grab three or more rebounds. This team is committed. They’ve also got nine players that they’re reliant on, including Nike Sibande and James Woodard, who scored double-digits off the bench.
I’m riding with the Aftershocks in this one.
Pick: Aftershocks -3.5 (-120)
