NFL Player Props, Picks & Predictions: Cardinals vs. Rams

Here are some of Andrew Erickson’s top picks for Cardinals vs. Rams. And check out all of his top picks for NFL Week 6.

Best Bets for Cardinals vs. Rams

I think 12.5 is too big a number. That is the biggest number the Rams have laid this year (with no home-field advantage to factor in).

Short week after an overtime loss against a head coach, Mike LaFleur, who spent three years with the Rams as their offensive coordinator. The Rams will also be without starting left tackle Alaric Jackson because of a one-game suspension.

The Rams have failed to cover the spread with a rest disadvantage in the last four instances.

Against that line, the Rams would have covered one of five games this season, the +22 over the Giants, while Arizona would have covered three times. Arizona is 2-0 ATS in 2026 when getting eight or more points. The risk is that Arizona has lost by 24 twice (Weeks 2 and 5) and allows 32.4 points per game. Woof.

It’s scary because the Cardinals are willing to drop back and throw 40 to 45 times per game with a combination of Jacoby Brissett/Michael Wilson/Trey McBride, and that creates garbage-time opportunities.

I like the value with Arizona at this number. Arizona’s biggest cover this season came in Week 1 at the Chargers in Los Angeles, where the Cardinals were 9.5-point underdogs and won outright, and I’ll take them playing in Los Angeles again.

This is also one of those classic “close your eyes” specials: Team gets blown out by 21+ points one week, then catches double-digit points the following week, etc. This matchup doesn’t align with the official “close your eyes” special (21 points versus the spread, so technically the Raiders qualify this week after getting blown out by New England), but you catch my drift.

    Even so…

The Cardinals got blown out twice last year by the Rams, 37-20 and 45-17, but I think we can all agree that last year’s Rams team might be better than the 2026 version. L.A. covered the double-digit spread in both games, although Arizona was winning late into the third quarter in the second matchup.

If you can’t stomach the Cardinals, the over is another option. Four of the last five games between these two teams have gone over the closing line total.

Best NFL Same Game Parlay for Cardinals vs. Rams

Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Cardinals vs. Rams. And you can view all of our Week 6 NFL same game parlays.

It's always risky to fade Trey McBride, one of the best tight ends in the NFL. However, we're doing exactly that to kick off our same-game parlay. The Rams are allowing a league-low 19.6 receiving yards and 2.8 receptions per game to opposing tight ends this season. The matchup doesn't get much tougher than that.

McBride continues to see a high volume of receptions and targets in the Arizona passing attack. However, let's bank on the Rams keeping him in check. McBride could still catch 8-10 passes, but his yards should be limited. Notably, he's only averaging 7.3 yards per reception this year. He's also averaging 61.6 yards per game. That would keep him under this 64.5 line.

Meanwhile, the other tight end in this game should be productive. Tyler Higbee has come on strong lately, with 60+ receiving yards in three straight weeks. He's become a bigger part of the passing attack, despite Puka Nacua back in the mix. The Cardinals are allowing the sixth-most receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends this year. It sets up well for Higbee, whose 35+ yardage line is very low this week.

Staying with Los Angeles, bank on Kyren Williams having success on the ground. Arizona is allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game to running backs this year. Jahmyr Gibbs just racked up 151 yards in this matchup last week. As for Williams, he should bounce back after being held to 49 yards last game. He had 80+ rushing yards in three straight games previously.

          Parlay Odds: +425

What is an NFL player prop bet?

An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
