MLB Player Prop Bet Picks

Wednesday’s Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Yordan Alvarez (+220) & Alex Bregman (+440)

Joey Estes faces division rival Houston Astros today. Over his career against the Astros, he has been hit early and often, but surprisingly, he has never allowed a home run to a current Astros player. However, he has given up eight dingers in his last six starts.

In 20 at-bats against the right-hander, the current Houston roster is batting .350 with three doubles.

Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman are the hottest hitters in this lineup. Both guys are hitting over .300 with an ISO over .280 and at least six homers since the beginning of August against right-handed pitchers.

I love the matchup for the Astros tonight. Hopefully, we have a big night from these two heavy hitters.

Bryce Harper (+440)

Bryce Harper is on a 28-game homerless streak, which is by far the longest of the season and one of the longest droughts of his career.

Despite not hitting a long ball in nearly a month, he is second on the team in batting average (.391) against right-handed pitchers over the last two weeks, trailing only Kyle Schwarber. His ISO of .217 is fourth on the team. He also leads the team in doubles.

It’s not like Harper is in a slump. He's been very hot at the plate but may just be getting a bit unlucky with the long ball. Let's see if we can snap that homerless streak tonight.
