Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Props
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jayson Tatum Over 9.5 Rebounds (-130)
Jayson Tatum finished Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers with 11 rebounds. He’s contributed at least 11 rebounds in eight of his last ten games and has hit this line in five of his last nine games against Philadelphia.
Ultimately, the 76ers rank 28th in total rebounds allowed to power forwards this season. Tatum has also added 15.8 rebound chances per game over the last ten games. As long as he gets nearly 16 rebound chances tonight, he’ll be in a good spot to land at least ten rebounds. After all, he’s nailed this line 65% of the time since returning from his injury.
Victor Wembanyama Over 28.5 Points (-104)
Victor Wembanyama finished with 35 points in the Spurs’ Game 1 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. He’s scored at least 34 points in five of his last six games. He scored just 17 points in 15.7 minutes against Philadelphia in the regular season, which kept him from adding 30+ points in that one.
The future is Wembanyama. He’s shot 55% from the field over the last ten games and has attempted nearly 20 shots per game. In addition, the Blazers struggle against centers, ranking dead last in field goal attempts and 28th in points allowed to centers this season.
Wembanyama shot 83% from deep agaisnt Portland in Game 1. This could happen frequently, knowing how bad Portland has been defending the three against centers. Take Wemby’s Over.
Alperen Sengun Over 5.5 Assists (-132)
Alperen Sengun has added at least six assists in seven of his last ten games. In addition, he contributed six assists against the Lakers in Game 1 of the series without Kevin Durant. It’s still unclear if Kevin Durant will play. But Sengun has the edge in assists all series long against the Lakers.
Los Angeles ranks 24th in the NBA in assists allowed to centers this season. Sengun has also earned 10.4 potential assists per game over the last ten games and has added at least six assists in three of his last four games against the Lakers.
Let’s take Sengun to add at least six assists tonight.
