We got back on track in Week 7, hitting two out of three plays. Kyler Murray and the Vikings leaned on the ground game, throwing only 24 times. They didn’t throw enough for Murray to get enough completions or for us to go 3-for-3 with our predictions. I have three more plays for Sunday. All three are from the 1:00 p.m. ET slate, and two are from the same game. Here are my top NFL Week 8 PrizePicks player predictions, which come with a 6X multiplier if you opt for the Power Play.

Kyle Pitts got off to a slow start this season, but he has picked it up over the last three games. He had only nine targets through four games, but has 18 over the last three with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback. He has 15 receptions for 124 yards and four touchdowns in that span.
Pitts draws a good matchup this week against the Buccaneers. They allow the sixth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends and have allowed an average of 5.7 receptions, 62 yards, and 0.7 touchdowns per game. The Falcons also love to look his way in the red zone. He leads the team with six red-zone targets, catching five of them for four touchdowns. Pitts should be involved again this week, especially on short routes, which help him rack up receptions.
The Lions have a +3 turnover differential this season, and Jared Goff has played a large role in that. He has 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions through six games this season. He became the only quarterback ever to throw for 200 passing yards, one passing touchdown and zero interceptions in each of his team's first six games of the season.
Goff faces a tough matchup this week against the Vikings, who have thrown five interceptions in five of their six games this season. I do not see that as a bad thing, but rather a chance to get this prop at good value. Last week, he faced the Packers, who lead the league with nine interceptions. He had 32 attempts against Green Bay and protected the ball. I expect him to continue his streak this week, despite a difficult matchup.
The Vikings must contain Jahmyr Gibbs if they want a chance to win. Their offense has looked lackluster, and they cannot win a shootout against the Lions' offense. Gibbs averages 6.7 targets per game this season, trailing only Josh Jacobs, who has played one game and has seven targets. He is getting consistent targets out of the backfield, but I expect the Vikings to make Gibbs beat them as a runner this week.
Gibbs has at least five receptions in five out of six games this season. He finished with four receptions on seven targets in Week 4 against the Panthers. The Vikings have negated receiving threats out of the backfield all season. They allow only 3.2 receptions per game to running backs, the third-fewest in the league.
The matchup also points Detroit toward the ground game. Minnesota ranks first in expected points added (EPA) per pass play but only ninth against the run. The easier path for the Lions is to hand the ball to Gibbs, sustain drives and wear down the Vikings’ defense. Gibbs should get a lot of work on the ground this week, and the Vikings should limit his receiving work.
