Tuesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Chicago Cubs vs. Detroit Tigers

Drew Smyly was taken out of the rotation. But now he’s back in it as the Cubs try to fix his issues on the mound. Smyly has allowed a .299 ISO and wOBA of .387 to his last 73 batters. However, he’s facing a Tigers’ lineup with a .073 ISO and wOBA of .273 over the previous month. This same lineup has struck out over 28% of the time against lefties.

Meanwhile, Smyly has still struck out 28.8% of batters over the last month. The left-hander should have a quality start tonight against the Tigers.

On the other hand, Reese Olson will take the mound for Detroit. He’s watched his last 47 righties faced hit a .217 ISO and wOBA of .401.

Nico Hoener, a righty, has hit a .179 ISO and wOBA of .407 against his last 77 righties. Then there’s Dansby Swanson, who has hit a .328 ISO and wOBA of .364 against his last 69 righties.

Both of those two righties have great matchups against Olson. Let’s ride the Cubs to victory in this same-game parlay.

Parlay Odds: +434

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pirates just scored 11 runs against the Cardinals last night. Now they’ll take on Adam Wainwright tonight. They’ll be adding more runs to the scoreboard tonight. Wainwright has allowed a .253 ISO and wOBA of .445 against his last 102 batters. He’s only thrown about 74 pitches per start in the previous month and has struck out under 13% of batters.

Meanwhile, Bryan Reynolds has slugged a .380 ISO and wOBA of .458 against his last 80 righties faced. Ke’Bryan Hayes has also been red hot against righties, hitting a .205 ISO and wOBA of .328. We’re also asking Liover Peguero to earn at least one hit. Peguero has a .250 ISO and wOBA of .346 while only striking out 21.1% of the time.

Pittsburgh’s lineup has struck out a lot against righties over the last 30 days. However, Wainwright isn’t a threat to earn high strikeouts. Furthermore, Wainwright has allowed 55% of hard contact and has only earned 8.9% of whiffs in the last 30 days. Even worse, he’s earned 3.2% of swinging strikes in that span.

The Pirates are major threats when putting the ball in play. The lineup has hit a .209 ISO and wOBA of .361 against righties. That includes those power hitters like Reynolds, Hayes and Peguero. Don’t sleep on Pittsburgh tonight!
