The first game of the season was a classic. The Chiefs hung on to defeat the Ravens because Isaiah Likely’s foot was too big.
That said, there are 16 more games this weekend, and we’re looking to parlay some of them for major payouts.
Each week, we’ll provide a couple of moneyline parlays that you can mix and match or consider playing for the week. Let’s cash in on Week 1.

Say what you want about Anthony Richardson and the Colts. But after all, Richardson is still unproven in the NFL and has little experience playing in college and the professional level. He’s undoubtedly gifted, but the Colts likely won’t move offense, and neither will C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans.
Houston showed off an outstanding secondary last season and was just as good at rushing the passer. Plus, Stroud proved he’s a reliable quarterback in the league, so the Texans invested. They added Stefon Diggs and have a healthy Tank Dell and Nico Collins at receiver. That should do wonders.
Meanwhile, the Giants might be home. But they also might be the worst team in the NFL this season. Daniel Jones isn’t the answer at quarterback, and everyone knows it. Minnesota doesn’t have an eye-popping quarterback, either. But Sam Darnold should perform well in a Kevin O’Connell offense that made Kirk Cousins a lot of money with the Falcons.
Finally, let’s side with the revamped Los Angeles Chargers. With Jim Harbaugh as head coach, the Chargers will be much more prepared in games. He’ll likely coach circles around Antonio Pierce, who doesn’t nearly have as much experience. Plus, the Raiders quarterback situation is terrible. Gardner Minshew will show glimpses, but he won’t win you many games this season.

Parlay #2
Just fade the rookie quarterbacks.
Rookie quarterbacks are 2-18-1 straight up and 5-15-1 against the spread in their last 21 Week 1-3 games.
Ultimately, Seattle is criminally underrated and should find plenty of success at home against a Denver squad with little talent. While Bo Nix has a lot of potential, it’ll be difficult for him in Week 1. Seattle’s defense looks more complete than it’s looked in a while.
Meanwhile, did anyone catch Bill Belichick throwing shade at Caleb Williams? He suggested he wasn’t impressed by Williams in the preseason and that he’s got a lot to work on. There’s no way I’d be comfortable riding the Bears at -180 with Williams under center after those comments.
Plus, while Jayden Daniels will be the best quarterback of the three, playing on the road against a veteran-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers team won’t look good. But even if Daniels plays well, let’s not forget about all the inconsistencies Washington brought to the table last season. This team has a lot of areas to fix heading into Week 1 beyond just quarterback play.
