Saturday’s Best NHL Player Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Steven Stamkos 3+ Shots on Goal (+125)
Nashville’s veteran star, Steven Stamkos, holds value in the Shots on Goal betting market. Stamkos has logged 3+ shots on goal in 3 of his previous 4 starts for the Predators.
Today, Stamkos faces his former team, the Lightning, while playing on home ice. Nashville ranks 17th in shot percentage (11.0) this season, and Stamkos has an impressive 19 minutes ATOI, skating on the Predators’ first attack line and primary power-play unit.
Bet on Stamkos to log 3+ shots on goal at plus odds.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins 1+ Points (-125)
Edmonton center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins plays on the Oilers’ second attack line and top powerplay unit. Now in his 16th season, all with Edmonton, Nugent-Hopkins has at least 1 point in 3 of 4 starts.
Today, Nugent-Hopkins faces an Islanders defense that will likely have Ilya Sorokin in net. He’s allowed 9 goals across his previous 2 starts.
This prop feels like a slam dunk. Bet on Nugent-Hopkins to record 1+ points at home against the Islanders at -125 odds.
Jake DeBrusk Under 0.5 Points (-115)
Vancouver hosts Toronto and will look to get a much-needed win. It likely won’t come from Jake DeBrusk, who has 1 point (assist) in his last 4 appearances for the Canucks.
DeBrusk has 8 points, including 3 goals this season. However, he’ll face Anthony Stolarz in net, holding opponents to a 2.79 GAA and 5 total goals across his previous 2 starts for the Maple Leafs.
DeBrusk skates on the Canucks’ first attack line and top powerplay unit. However, it hasn’t translated into much production recently.
We’re landing a good price fading DeBrusk on the ice tonight. Bet Jake DeBrusk Under 0.5 Points at -115 odds to close out tonight’s NHL Halloween betting card.
